BACKGROUND:

Along with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and an MBA, Ms. Heidi Watton is a licensed professional engineer in Nebraska, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, New York, Florida, Utah, North Carolina, South Carolina, Indiana, Louisiana, and Texas. She has over 20 years of experience in various areas of the civil engineering field.

Specifically, Ms. Watton has focused on land development and transportation projects in the Midwest and Southwest, including single-family and multi-family residential, commercial, and both roadway and airport facility expansion projects. She is especially knowledgeable in the areas of grading and earthwork analysis, utility layout, and design of stormwater management systems. Over the course of her career, Ms. Watton has been responsible for many aspects of the development design process including feasibility studies, preliminary and final engineering, stormwater management and floodplain analysis, roadway/highway design, cost estimation, scheduling, jurisdictional coordination, and construction and bid administration.

As a forensic consultant, Ms. Watton performs analysis and investigation of residential, commercial, and industrial site issues including foundation settlement investigations, grading and drainage evaluations, stormwater management system assessments, floodplain and rainwater runoff analysis, roofing installation and storm damage evaluations, and general construction defect determinations.
