Background
Mr. Matthew Hickey has an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Sinclair Community College and is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University. He is an accredited accident reconstructionist with the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction. For over 20 years, he served as a police officer with the City of Beavercreek Police Department.
Throughout his 20-year tenure in law enforcement, Mr. Hickey gained extensive experience as a crash reconstructionist, investigating thousands of injury and non-injury collisions. Mr. Hickey’s forensic investigations have involved commercial and passenger motor vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, and pedestrian collisions. He has analyzed airbag control module downloading and analysis, airborne, the conversation of linear momentum, crush damage/energy, speed/time/distance analysis, and occupant kinematics.
Mr. Hickey is also a certified evidence technician and an FAA drone pilot.
