Ergonomía Industrial y Estudios de Tiempo y Movimiento
The Rimkus Industrial Ergonomics and Time and Motion Studies team is a part of our Human Factors practice. We assist clients in the design and implementation of time and motion studies for a variety of situations. Our experts can provide litigation support for matters dealing with employment situations and their evaluation under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
What is time and motion study?
A time and motion study measures the time required to perform activities such as donning and doffing work equipment/clothing, cleaning activities, and making religious accommodations, as well as the proportion of time spent by workers in performing specific tasks (for example, work time versus idle time, exempt work versus non-exempt work, and tipped versus non-tipped activities).
