
Background
Mr. Aaron Jakielaszek attended Drexel University where he received a dual B.S. degree in Architectural Engineering and Civil Engineering and an M.S. degree in Architectural Engineering. His experience is in the design and evaluation of steel and concrete structures, building enclosure system installations, air/moisture infiltration investigations and testing, and construction oversight on projects ranging from historic restoration to new construction.
Mr. Jakielaszek has performed structural analyses of steel and reinforced concrete on commercial- and residential-style structures. He has a background in modeling and analyzing existing and new structural systems and providing structural solutions for supporting new equipment and structures. He also has a background in performing and reviewing air and moisture infiltration testing in commercial new construction.
As a forensic investigator, Mr. Jakielaszek investigates and evaluates structural failure conditions in commercial and residential structures and properties including foundations, wood and steel framing, concrete structures, and roofing systems, as well as any associated damage to a property due to storms, moisture intrusion, and general construction defects.
