Ms. Aime Harrison has 20 years of experience as a forensic expert in a variety of technical matters relating to construction defects and damage, as well as post-event engineering assessments for the transportation and maritime industries. Ms. Harrison is a Chartered Engineer with a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Doctorate in Geotechnical Engineering. Her extensive engineering expertise comprises forensic investigations for insurance companies, lawyers, project sponsors, port owners and operators, ship owners, P&I Clubs, loss adjusters, and other members of the construction and engineering communities.
Ms. Harrison is the leader of multi-disciplinary forensic investigations as well as teams of forensic engineers. She provides technical advice to the International Maritime Organization (IMO) on all mineral ore cargo liquefaction matters for inclusion in international shipping safety regulations.
Ms. Harrison provides dispute resolution for arbitrations, settlement negotiations, and expert witness advice on geotechnical and civil engineering matters.
As a business leader, Ms. Harrison develops effective negotiation strategies to resolve conflicts effectively.
Ms. Harrison is experienced as an expert witness and/or project engineer in many sectors including construction, energy (oil and gas as well as renewables), infrastructure, marine, mining, and shipping.
