Background

Alphonse graduated with a BS in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering from SUNY University at Buffalo. While in school, he developed an interest in earthquakes; as he was a student member of ASCE, and joined the Seismic Design Competition team. Alphonse is currently enrolled as a graduate student completing his masters in Structural Engineering expecting graduation Fall 2021. Alphonse has over 3 years of experience in Structural Analysis and Design and has had the opportunity to perform inspections on several job sites as needed by the company. As part of his involvement in the design of several bridge replacement projects, he performed structural analysis of bridge superstructures, retaining walls, abutments, and foundations including micropiles using Mathcad, RISA 3D, LEAP Steel/Concrete, LPile. He was also responsible to develop detailed drawings as part of my involvement in the design of the different projects he had worked on. As part of his daily job tasks, Alphonse assists in different tasks including review of design calculations, detailed drawings, RFI’s, submittals, design specifications, and Shop Drawings.
