Ms. Amy C. Miller holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis, as well as a B.A. in Physics.

With experience working in the manufacturing and energy sectors, as well as with more traditional architectural construction projects, Ms. Miller brings a broad knowledge base and familiarity with engineering principles in a variety of industries, to contribute to her structural specialty. She has structural and mechanical design and analysis experience in the area of Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) for energy industry usage, performing calculations for the design and analysis of components compliant with ASCE and ASME codes, and taking into consideration high-pressure and high-temperature exposed elements. As a structural engineering intern working in the field of seismic and extreme loads, she gained knowledge in the evaluation and design of structures to resist natural hazards and man-made risks. Her other areas of experience include construction detail drawing and construction oversight in residential and commercial structures. In her position as a forensic engineering consultant, she adds to her experience, investigations to determine cause, origin, and extent of damage to structures and their components/systems, as well as the repairability of these structures and their components.
