Background

Ms. Templeton graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering. She is a registered professional engineer in the state of Florida.

Ms. Templeton has spent her entire engineering career at Rimkus, where she started out as an intern in 2003. Her experience with Rimkus includes source of moisture and building penetration evaluations, flooring evaluations, thermal imaging, and indoor air quality testing and protocols. 

Her professional knowledge also extends to vibration analysis; storm damage determinations; roof evaluations; crawl space pier and beam construction failures; mold testing and remediation protocols; Chinese (reactive) drywall evaluations, testing, and remediation protocols; structural fire damage determinations and calculations; insect infestation damage; plumbing evaluations; excavation and tunneling repairs; cost estimate preparation; and subsurface geotechnical investigations of residential environments and materials testing. Her flooring evaluations have included wood, ceramic, porcelain, and marble tile flooring, which encompassed cracked tiles, delaminated/de-bonded tiles, buckled/tented tiles, and chipped tiles due to impact and improper installation.  

She has also provided consultation and investigation concerning premises liability issues for pedestrian usage of constructed facilities, evaluation of slip resistance, and conformance to as-built and current codes, ADA requirements, and statutes.
