Background

Mr. Reilly is a 2003 University of California - San Diego graduate with extensive experience in forensic inspections for insurance claim and construction defect litigation. His experience and industry knowledge covers over 15 years in areas of design, inspection, and retrofitting of projects including residential, commercial, governmental, and medical structures. He has extensive experience in wood-framed construction defects, as well as wood rot analysis and water intrusion through building envelopes.

Mr. Reilly has investigated and evaluated building and site damage caused by earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, hail, fires, mudslides, subsidence, vibrations, vehicle impacts, tree impacts, and construction defects. These investigations include determining the cause and origin of concrete and finish cracking, moisture intrusion through building envelopes, floor/roof/lateral system failures, and retaining wall failures.
