Background

Mr. Gieda is an engineering graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, with degrees in architectural engineering technology and structural design and construction engineering technology, with particular specialty in structures.  He has 16 years of diverse engineering, design, construction and management experience on buildings, bridges, marine vessels, civil infrastructure projects, as well as heavy manufacturing, including a thorough understanding of lean manufacturing methodologies and quality assurance/control procedures and processes.  He also has experience in the utility industry with regard to heavy underground electrical circuits, distribution and transmission, and structural analysis of node antennae configuration deployments on a variety of utility structures.  He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is licensed to practice professional engineering in 8 jurisdictions.

Mr. Gieda’s professional experiences include design and analysis of steel and concrete structures, with a specialization in cast-in-place and prestressed/precast concrete, structural assessments and analysis, building damage remediation, feasibility studies, cost estimating and project management.  He has consulted on civil infrastructure projects, including simple span bridges, for both the Federal Highway Administration and a multitude of Departments of Transportation in the Northeast Region, as well as custom multi-story building structures in the private market.  He is also a Quality Level I Inspector through the National Precast Concrete Association.

Mr. Gieda’s utility experience ranges from feasibility studies to design and construction oversight as well as perform civil design and coordination of outage logistics for transmission lines from substation to termination points.  Mr. Gieda has performed structural design and finite element analysis in a multitude of jurisdictions throughout the Northeast Region for node configuration antennae, 4G and 5G systems, on various utility structures.
