Mr. Christopher D. Wendt is a graduate of University of Florida. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering. Mr. Wendt also earned a Master of Engineering Management degree from Old Dominion University. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida. Mr. Wendt has 18 years of knowledge and experience in areas of writing proposals; planning; engineering; procurement; engineering management; project management; scheduling; project cost estimating and budget control; implementing quality and control procedures; contract management; report generation; invoicing; and coordinating equipment maintenance and repair, mobilization, logistics and field activities in the environment and infrastructure business with extensive industry experience in petroleum contamination assessment and remediation, facility condition assessments, and construction materials testing.

Mr. Wendt’s experience includes condition assessments of building systems including substructures, flooring, superstructures, exterior finishes, interior finishes, and roofing systems of facilities on military and law enforcement installations. He has overseen the maintenance and repair of shipboard mechanical and electrical systems in the engine room.  Mr. Wendt is experienced in the testing of construction materials including concrete strength; proctor compaction; and soil density and classification. He has investigated and assessed the condition of underground storage tanks, aboveground storage tanks, and secondary containment systems. He has conducted Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.

Representative engagements include: investigating, evaluating and analyzing failures in civil/structural engineering and general construction-related disciplines related to residential, commercial, municipal and industrial buildings. Investigate premises liability, foundation failures, structural deficiencies and failures, water intrusion/envelope failures, chipped/broken/delaminated tiles due to impact and improper installation, roofing failures and wind-storm damage.  Verify construction compliance with applicable building codes, industry standards, and contract specifications and assess construction jobsite safety issues.
