Background

Mr. David Furin earned his B.A. degree in English from the University of Georgia and M.A. in Physical Geography from the University of Wyoming. Mr. Furin is a qualified Environmental Professional (EP) under ASTM E 1527-13 and is a Registered Environmental Manager (REM).

Mr. Furin is a Senior Project Manager with Assessment Services with over 21 years of experience in project and client management in ASTM-compliant environmental due diligence for real estate transactions. Mr. Furin has a strong working knowledge of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Assessments (ESAs), Transaction Screen Assessments (TSA), Small Balance Loan (SBL) reviews, and Property Condition Assessments (PCAs). Mr. Furin also has experience in environmental permitting, compliance, and regulations as they relate to stormwater and hazardous and solid waste issues; Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures (SPCC) rules; wetland delineations; and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) evaluations. Mr. Furin’s experience also includes the assessment of asbestos-containing materials (ACM), lead-based paint (LBP), advanced mold growth (AMG), and radon.
