Background

Deyan Petakovich, AIA, is a 1983 graduate of California State Polytechnic University Pomona, California, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture. Mr. Petakovich is a licensed Architect in the State of California and a certified Project Specialist for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) where he has applied all of his extensive professional experience in all phases of architecture, development, construction management, and construction defect consulting.

During the course of many years, Mr. Petakovich has demonstrated an effective knowledge in the many aspects of architecture, forensic investigation of construction defects, and construction including research, planning, cost-efficient analysis, and management.

Mr. Petakovich’s “real-world hands-on experience” and attention to detail is especially recognized by his peers and colleagues.

Mr. Petakovich’s professional associations include The American Institute of Architects (AIA), Arizona Multihousing Association (AMA), and the California Apartment Association (CAA); he has also served as a member of the San Diego County Apartment Association (SDCAA) Legislative Committee.
