Mr. Cankosyan holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, a LEED AP accredited professional and a Six Sigma Green Belt Certified Quality Management Professional. He’s a registered professional engineer in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Delaware and Florida.
He has extensive industry experience in the building design, equipment design, systems design, and entertainment sectors. His skills and industry knowledge cover areas of design, engineering, procurement, project management, structural design and evaluation, and cost estimating.
Mr. Cankosyan’s expertise includes design of industrial, institutional, commercial, healthcare, semi-conductor, research, laboratory, power generation, educational facilities, telecommunication, and theatrical facilities. Mr. Cankosyan has also designed HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, process piping, power piping, structural, electrical power generation, fluid process, laboratory, biomedical, pressure vessel systems and equipment.
Mr. Cankosyan was also self-employed as a principal and chief designer of a racing automobile firm for several years, as well as a contributor to the DIRT Motorsports Rule Book.
As a forensic engineer, Mr. Cankosyan is responsible for evaluating HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, product and system issues for residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.
