Mr. Alvarado holds a B.S. degree in Construction Engineering and an M.S. in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures. He is a registered professional engineer in Texas.

With over 6 years of structural engineering experience, Mr. Alvarado’s expertise includes the design of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood structures for educational, commercial, multi-family, and single-family residential buildings. Mr. Alvarado specializes in the design of steel structures and analysis and design of wind-resisting lateral systems. He has served as a project manager, performing project proposals, budgets, scheduling, quality assurance, quality control, and procuring project deliverables.

Mr. Alvarado’s investigative experience includes analysis of commercial and residential structural systems, construction defects of building structures, structural engineering consulting, and hail/windstorm roof assessments. In his early career, Mr. Alvarado worked for his family roofing business for over 5 years, where he inspected roofs, performed roof estimates, coordinated material orders and delivery, and installed/replaced residential roofs.
