Heather R. Anesta

Ms. Anesta is a graduate of Florida State University with a B.S. and M.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering. She has extensive structural and multi-discipline project management experience in the commercial, residential, civil, and marine sectors in the areas of design, engineering, forensic investigation, engineering management, project management, structural design and evaluation, scheduling, cost estimating and budget control, implementing quality and control procedures, and contract management.
Her experience includes structural design of reinforced concrete, timber, masonry, and steel building systems, design of water and sewer utility structures, design of commercial and residential buildings, marine facilities, project management, and estimating construction costs. She has direct design and project management experience for building and infrastructure projects on the Private, State, County and local Municipality level.
Ms. Anesta has investigated flooring and roof failures, building settlement, corrosion damage, concrete failure analysis, concrete and masonry cracking, retaining wall and seawall distress, roofing system failures, and tile floor failures. Ms. Anesta has prepared structural calculations for buildings, industrial structures, construction support structures, docks and seawalls, and pre-engineered buildings.
Ms. Anesta is experienced in the application of Building Codes, Accessibility Codes, ASCE for wind and seismic loads, and design specifications ACI for concrete, PCI for precast concrete structures, AISC for steel structures, AISI for cold-formed steel structures, SJI for steel joists, SDI for steel decks, MSJC for masonry, and NDS for wood structures.
In addition, Ms. Anesta is a LEED® Accredited Professional, which demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the “green building” certification process for building design, materials, construction, operation, and indoor air quality issues by the US Green Building Council.
Ms. Anesta’s areas of expertise include property inspection of civil components and forensic inspection of structural components and managing of multi-discipline projects.
