Background

Mr. Yang is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering, an M.S. equivalent professional program with structural emphasis, Mr. Yang is a licensed Professional Engineer in Civil and Structural with more than 12 years of experience in areas of structural design/engineering.

Throughout his career, Mr. Yang has served as a Level IV Structural Engineer. In this capacity, he has managed all phases of design projects including project and construction management/administration, structural evaluation/analysis using computer software, building codes/site adaptation research, and quality assurance/quality control of various commercial/federal/industrial projects. He has particularly been involved in the design/failure analysis of cast-in-place/post-installed anchors installed in concrete as referenced in American Concrete Institute 318 Appendix D as well as structural steel/weld design in compliance with American Institute of Steel Construction. His most recent experience includes structural failure analysis of building and non-building structures; collapse and damage assessment; moisture intrusion and leaks; hail and wind damage; intentional damage; fire damage; exterior cladding and interior finish damage assessment; water testing; and foundation evaluation of residential and commercial structures.
