Along with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Mr. Bickford is a licensed professional engineer in Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Kentucky, New York, West Virginia, and Indiana. He has more than 30 years of project management, design, equipment specification, engineering, bid review, and estimating experience.

His experience includes work in industrial manufacturing, food and beverage, oil and gas, petrochemical, automotive manufacturing, and chemical, commercial, and residential facilities. His experience and industry knowledge covers design, engineering, procurement, engineering management, project and construction management, evaluation, scheduling, cost estimating and budget control, implementing quality and control procedures, and contract management.

Mr. Bickford’s areas of expertise include the managing of new grass-roots capital projects, as well as the re-vamping and renovating of existing manufacturing facilities, chemical plants, oil, gas, and petrochemical projects. He has been responsible for executing many complex EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) and design-build projects. He has experience in the inspection of electrical systems and appliances for the purpose of analyzing and evaluating potential electrical failure scenarios. Those matters have involved residential, commercial, and industrial building fires, lightning damage, shocks, and power surge claims. He is proficient in electrical equipment grounding, consumer products failure analysis, and the investigation of electrical manufacturing and design defects.
