Background

Mr. Peters is a licensed Professional Engineer and LEED® Accredited Professional with more than 30 years of diversified building science, engineering and facility management experience. He has worked as a project manager, a Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) project engineer, a contractor, and as a large institutional facility manager/owner's representative for over $100 million in new construction.

Mr. Peters areas of expertise includes investigating and testifying in building damage, product, design and operational claims involving - heating ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, steam, medical gases, electrical, fire protection, irrigation and building envelope systems. He routinely investigates indoor air quality, fungal contamination, water and vapor intrusion, product failures, develops scopes of work and remediation plans, and causation of carbon monoxide, soot, and fire for commercial, educational, institutional, residential and green buildings. He presents Continuing Education seminars nationally for insurance adjusters, attorneys, and the public on various topics including green buildings, mold, MEP, HVAC, construction defects, healthcare, remediation, building commissioning and catastrophic damages.
