BACKGROUND:
Mr. Jimmy Monahan was first introduced to the building envelope industry when he joined the Sullivan Engineering team in the beginning of 2016. Since that time, Mr. Monahan has overseen several building envelope projects including FISP inspections, building envelope surveys, and leak investigations throughout the New York and New Jersey metropolitan areas. Mr. Monahan is currently overseeing the building envelope capital plans for 171 buildings for two major condominiums in the Bronx, New York.
Prior to Rimkus, Mr. Monahan worked as a structural engineer focusing on the design of load-bearing structures composed of steel, concrete, and masonry. Such structures include commercial buildings, residential high-rises, freestanding walls, retaining walls, dunnage support, equipment supports, platforms, foundations and braced frames.
