Background

Mr. Kile attended Drexel University where he received a B.S. degree in Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering. He is a registered professional engineer with 7 years of diverse professional experience on projects spanning the nation.

Mr. Kile has designed and overseen construction on structures in a variety of states using all major material types to include wood, steel, concrete, and masonry. He has experience in structural design of residential, commercial, industrial, and transportation-oriented projects; design of foundations and retaining structures in areas prone to landslides and seismic activity; hillside deepened-pile foundation design; lateral analysis and seismic retrofitting; and temporary shoring design. He has provided structural design for buildings needing repair due to inadequacies in their lateral and gravitational resisting systems, following site investigations, and as-built drawing review. He has also designed new structures from the foundation up through the framing, provided structural analysis packages and construction documents, and performed site inspections to verify site conditions and construction progress matched the proposed structural design.

Mr. Kile has project management and construction coordination experience that includes planning, budgeting, inspection, evaluation, and interaction and communication with clients. He has managed the completion of many projects, prepared proposals, processed requests for information (RFIs), reviewed shop drawings, and provided his expertise to design packages. He is familiar with various building codes and regulatory requirements related to buildings and non-building structures.
