Mr. Joshua Lyon holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Emphasis) from the University of Kansas. Mr. Lyon is a registered professional engineer in Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri.
Mr. Lyon has experience in contaminated groundwater treatment and various aspects of structural engineering. He has experience in historical restoration, construction observation, condition assessments, structural evaluation, and failure investigation.
Mr. Lyon has experience in engineering management, project and construction management, scheduling, and business development.
Mr. Lyon’s areas of expertise include the review and evaluation of existing buildings, in addition to the design and analysis of commercial steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures. Mr. Lyon has provided construction observation services during the erection of large concrete structures, groundwork preparation for concrete foundations, placement of reinforcing steel in concrete structures, numerous concrete pours, trenching and placement of HDPE piping, and erection of prefabricated steel buildings. He has also been involved with the erection and placement of groundwater treatment equipment, the associated plumbing between equipment, and the various related instrumentation.
Mr. Lyon has design experience on a variety of projects in budget, size, and scope. His project experience has included new construction, renovation, restorations, and expansion of existing facilities.
