Background

Mr. Layman earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2012 with specialization in structural engineering.  He has over 5 years of consulting engineering experience in structural design, analysis, evaluation, inspections and construction management and is a Professional Engineer in Florida and California. 

His experience includes investigations on residential and commercial structures including foundations, structural framing, building envelopes, roof systems and structural damage assessments from a variety of reported incidences; including, storms, water intrusion and construction-related defects. He has provided consulting services concerning structural and property damage evaluation, failure causation, construction defects, code compliance, and repairs/remediation for structures.
