Mr. Groenleer holds a B.S. degree in Geological Engineering and is a licensed professional engineer in Michigan. He has over 30 years of experience as a multi-discipline engineering consultant. Mr. Groenleer's wide-ranging forensic engineering background includes building envelope, construction defects, foundation systems, utilities, code compliance, mechanical systems, environmental, geotechnical, and agricultural engineering. He has extensive deposition and trial experience in state and federal courts.

He has over 15 years of experience in forensic investigations, including damage to residential and commercial properties. Mr. Groenleer has inspected and evaluated foundation settlement and damage, site grading and drainage, retaining walls, moisture intrusion/water damage, storm damage, fire damage, construction defects, and utilities including natural gas, propane, water, and sewerage systems.

Mr. Groenleer's past geotechnical, civil, environmental, and agricultural experience includes a vast range of projects, including landfills, large agricultural operations, industrial and commercial facilities, utilities, site development, and residential properties. He has designed landfills, groundwater extraction and remediation systems, shallow and deep foundations, reinforced concrete tanks, concrete lining systems, geosynthetic lining systems, land application of wastewater systems, slope stability, and stabilization. Mr. Groenleer has extensive experience in environmental investigations and sampling, construction quality control testing, and material evaluation.
