Background

Mr. Krotenberg specializes in the evaluation and control of chemical, biological, and physical environmental and workplace hazards. He has conducted evaluations of chemical toxicity, workplace and environmental exposure assessments, and exposure risk assessments involving drinking water, indoor air quality, pesticide and herbicide application, moisture intrusion and mold, chemical releases/spills, consumer product safety, and smoke/soot contamination. He has developed forensic test methods for uncommon contaminants and has developed probabilistic models (i.e., Monte Carlo Analysis) to assess exposure to hazardous chemicals / conditions.

Experience as an OSHA officer and Certified Safety Professional enables him to provide expertise regarding employer / employee and multi-employer worksite standard of care. Investigations include but are not limited to fall protection, ladders, machine guarding, working/walking surfaces, ADA, illumination, community noise, premise liability, confined spaces, control of hazardous energy (i.e., lockout/tagout), flammable/explosive materials, protective equipment, regulatory requirements, and employer/employee standard of care on single-employer and multi-employer worksites.

Evaluated work conducted by others in support of claim disputes and/or litigation. Supported construction defect investigations and developed electronic data management tools to organize, analyze, and extract pertinent data. Mr. Krotenberg has participated in the mediation and litigation of multi-million dollar claims as an expert throughout the United States.
