Mr. Villa is an engineering graduate with industry experience in the firearms, manufacturing, automotive and aerospace sectors. His experience and industry knowledge covers over 7 years in areas of design, engineering, project management, mechanical design and testing, implementing quality and control procedures, design of experiments, failure analysis, documentation control and revision, manufacturing processes, design for manufacturing and FEA studies.

Mr. Villa’s areas of expertise include the managing of product design projects from beginning of design phase to full scale production. Mr. Villa has been responsible for root cause analysis of problems in manufacturing and assembly, providing hands-on support to operators, use of simulation software to solve motion problems, tolerance stacks, mechanism design, conduct DOE (design of experiments) and also DFM (design for manufacturing) meetings with manufacturing and process engineering teams to help simplify and reduce costs of new and existing designs.
