Mr. Ghandour holds a B.S degree in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida with specialization in construction engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in the states of Florida, Georgia, Texas, Arizona, Utah, and Washington. He also is a Certified General Contractor in the state of Florida, an OSHA 30-Hour Construction certified outreach trainer and holds a Florida Department of Environmental Protection Stormwater Erosion and Sedimentation Control Inspector certification.
Mr. Ghandour has 16-years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. His experience includes land surveying, site development, design, and inspections in the residential, commercial, industrial, and federal government/military sectors. His design and construction oversight experience include construction utilizing conventional wood framing, concrete masonry, steel framing, light-gauge steel framing and trusses, cast-in-place concrete, precast and tilt-up concrete, civil/site design, underground utility structures, Portland concrete and asphalt pavements, and anti-terrorism/force protection structures. Mr. Ghandour has trained individuals in OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety, Project Management, Construction Inspection, and Field Engineering practices.
Mr. Ghandour’s forensic experience includes investigations on residential, historical, commercial, roadway airfield pavements, and industrial structures including roof systems, building envelopes, foundations, floor coverings, structural damage assessments from a variety of incidences; including accidents, high-wind events, seismic movement, water intrusion, catastrophes, fires, and construction-related defects. He has provided consultation to design professionals, contractors, and government agencies concerning structural and property damage evaluation, construction defects, code compliance, and repairs/remediation for structures. He has also performed safety and fire egress assessments and remediation, mold determination, and anti-terrorism and force protection site assessments.
