Background

Mr. Chang is a graduate of the University of Missouri - Rolla with a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering and specialized in geotechnical engineering.  He has 30 years of experience in the geotechnical engineering field and related construction management & peer reviews.  Mr. Chang has extensive experience with residential, commercial, industrial and public work projects. 

Mr. Chang expertise includes design and construction of shallow and deep foundations, mechanical stabilized earth (MSE) and convention retaining walls, shoring, structural underpinning works, landslide failure study, pavement and drainage failure investigations, water retaining structures stability and seepage analyses, seismic and soil liquefaction studies, structural fill evaluation, settlement analysis, shoring design and forensic studies.   He has broad experience in hillside developments, storm water systems, foundation and earth structure failure investigations, value engineering, and project management.
