Background

Mr. Lewis is a graduate of Mercer University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. His professional background consists of experience in design engineering, project management, construction field assistance, and engineering management for residential, commercial, and industrial construction. He is a licensed professional engineer in multiple states.

Mr. Lewis has broad experience in Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and plumbing engineering design. His HVAC knowledge and expertise includes packaged air conditioning units, furnaces, rooftop units, water chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, heat pumps, environmental exhaust systems, commercial kitchen exhaust systems, fans, blowers, ductwork, and controls. He has experience with plumbing systems including domestic supply piping, chilled water piping, piping materials, water heaters, recirculation systems, drain piping, vent piping, natural gas piping, grease interceptors, oil separators, pumps, and lift stations.

Mr. Lewis’s knowledge and expertise of industrial equipment includes steam piping, compressed air piping, pumps, material conveyors, chute design, blowers, blow lines, debarking drums, wood chippers, chip screens, and paper machines. He has extensive experience with large industrial boilers including emissions compliance technologies, feedwater pumps, deaerators, recirculating pumps, induced draft fans, forced draft fans, flue gas duct, desuperheaters, soot blowers, fuel feeding systems, ash handling, instrumentation, and controls.  He has experience working with bark, coal, natural gas, and heat recovery boilers
