Mr. Martin graduated Magna cum Laude with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State University and is a registered Professional Engineer.  He has extensive education, training, and experience in troubleshooting failures in manufacturing and process industries.  His experience includes design of machines, pumps and piping, process systems foundations and structures, composite structures and tanks, personnel platforms and equipment structures on mobile units, automatic controls engineering, drivelines, hydraulic and pneumatic power systems, guarding and project management.

Mr. Martin has been involved in the investigation of industrial and process equipment failures of fans, pumps, motors and other rotating machinery.  He has collaborated on the investigation of industrial explosions, fires and accidents involving process equipment, railway equipment, tanks, material handling equipment, and industrial vehicles.  He has experience managing and repairing water supply and treatment, waste and storm water systems and other industrial infrastructure components.

In addition, he has extensive engineering and hands-on experience in vehicle systems (engines, drivelines, fuel systems, brakes, hydraulics, suspension, air conditioning, electrical systems, paint and body, and interiors) of automobiles, trucks, heavy machines and farm equipment.  Mr. Martin also has hands-on experience in the areas of home construction, wiring, HVAC systems, plumbing and home appliance failures and repairs.

Mr. Martin has expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) calculations for structures, piping systems, equipment components and supports, platforms, mixing systems, combustion processes, heat transfer and thermal systems.
