Background

A graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mr. Todaro is a registered professional engineer whose 16+ years of diverse professional experience spans many areas, including the design of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, engineering, project management, mechanical design evaluation, and project scheduling. He is also a licensed mold assessor in the state of Florida.

Mr. Todaro’s specific area of expertise is designing and evaluating HVAC systems. His HVAC experience includes air-side and water-side system design, equipment selection for commercial and residential applications, equipment selection of condenser water/chilled water piping systems, development and testing of HVAC controls, applications of HVAC, humidity control, and system and equipment failure. Additionally, he is knowledgeable in retrieving data from the crash data recorder of vehicles. In addition, he is skilled in non-destructive examination and testing.

Prior to joining Rimkus, Mr. Todaro was a design engineer responsible for project coordination and technical development of new heat pump product lines, which included testing and certifying products with Underwriter’s Laboratory (UL). He also worked as an applications engineer charged with providing  technical assistance to design engineers and sales representatives.
