Background

Mr. Foster is an Idaho-based engineer who holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University and an M.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Ohio University. He is a Professional Engineer in California, Colorado, Idaho, Texas, and Washington.

Mr. Foster has 39 years of engineering, design, construction, inspection forensic studies of the residential, commercial, industrial, and heavy civil industries. His residential and commercial property forensic experience ranges from the investigation of storm-related and snow load damages, to foundation issues, to building condition structural analysis.

Mr. Foster has particular engineering and construction expertise with oil and gas, power, marine, highway, and other heavy civil/structural projects. Through his Staad.pro Certification and hands-on experience, he has expertise in the analysis and design of towers, plants, bridges, stadiums, and marine structures, among others.

Mr. Foster has significant experience in construction project management, including front-end project planning, development of relevant project documents, the structural calculations for various building materials, including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood, and vendor and contractor management. He has experience with the Design/ Build process, as well as cost estimating.
