Mr. Scott Andries received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Orleans (UNO).  He is a registered professional engineer with 30+ years of experience in electrical power design and maintenance, 500 kiloVolts (kV) down to 120 Volts (V), across a variety of industries including utility, petrochemical, pulp and paper, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and renewable energy (solar, wind and energy storage).

M. Andries est également un membre actif de l'Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEEE), dont il est membre de la Power and Energy Society et de l'Industrial Application Society, et il participe à plusieurs groupes de travail sur les normes.

Mr. Andries’ areas of expertise include power system analysis, electrical engineering design, reliability analysis, electrical system maintenance, and engineering management.  He has performed power system studies which include short circuit analysis, protective device coordination, and shock and arc flash hazard assessment for commercial, industrial, and utility clients.  His electrical design experience includes power generation, substation design, and power distribution, both ANSI/IEEE and IEC design.

Mr. Andries has provided arc flash and shock hazard training for various clients.  He is also highly skilled in the interpretation and application of the National Electric Code (NFPA 70) and Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace (NFPA 70E).
