Rimkus experts were retained to provide acquisition due diligence services. Our team performed the physical due diligence and managed the environmental consultant engaged for the project. A key priority was to quickly assess the capital expenditure (CapEx) underwriting before the initial purchase deposit of several hundred million dollars was due, as this deposit was non-refundable. We then proceeded to complete on-the-ground reviews of each asset.
Our initial analysis of CapEx projections allowed the deal to advance without delay. This, together with our comprehensive review, provided the due diligence needed to secure financing for the large deal.
