Caribbean Terminal Damaged by Hurricane

Background

A hurricane damaged a marine terminal in the Caribbean and prevented loading/unloading operations for South American crude oil and fuel products.

Services Provided

Rimkus reviewed the damage, determined the repair scope, estimated the repair cost and monitored repairs to the docks. However, a second hurricane occurred before the repairs could be completed, so the project had to be extended. Rimkus remained on the job and monitored the repair work. When repairs were completed, ships began transferring fuels into and out of the terminal.
