バックグラウンド

レイナ・シャーは、ヒューマン・ファクター・グループのプリンシパル・コンサルタントであり、化学物質のリスクコミュニケーション活動を指揮している。化学物質リスクコミュニケーション、労働安全衛生、消費者製品の安全性と警告に関する訴訟問題で豊富な経験を持つ。警告や説明書に対するユーザーの反応に関する調査、消費者、医療、娯楽、小売、職業における製品安全情報の評価、製品・労働事故および構内安全問題の分析、一般的な安全およびヒューマンファクターに関するコンサルティングなどを行う。

また、ミシガン大学において、危険コミュニケーション、ドライバーの注意散漫、不確実な安全衛生リスクなどのテーマで定期的にゲスト講師を務めている。

ミシガン大学で産業オペレーション工学の修士号を取得。また、ミシガン大学で心理学と産業オペレーション工学の2つの学士号を取得。ミシガン大学在学中は、ミシガン大学人間工学センターでバイオメカニクスと人体運動シミュレーションの分野で研究を支援。また、ミシガン大学交通研究所のヒューマンファクター部門で、ドライバー・インターフェースの設計に関するヒューマンファクターの問題を研究した。
