뉴욕시 난간 검사 요건

New York City Rule 103-15, for the periodic inspection of parapet walls, goes into effect on 1월 1, 2024.

This law requires building owners to have parapet walls regularly inspected to identify any dangerous conditions and, if necessary, install public protections until any identified unsafe conditions are corrected.

It applies to all buildings with parapets fronting public right-of-way, regardless of height, except for detached one- and two- family homes or buildings with a fence or other barrier preventing access to the exterior wall.

The law also states that a report prepared by a competent person must be prepared and maintained for a period of six years and made available to the New York City Department of Buildings upon request. For additional information on parapet inspection requirements, please visit the following link.
