BACKGROUND:

Mr. Peter Quinn holds a B.S. degree in Engineering and is a registered professional engineer in Illinois. He has extensive industry experience in residential home construction, heavy highway, bridges, residential road construction, and water main, sanitary, and storm sewer construction and testing. His experience and industry knowledge span 25 years in the areas of design, engineering, management, project and construction management, scheduling, cost estimating, budget control, and contract management.

Mr. Quinn is experienced with supervision and/or management of construction standard of care, means and methods for small crane operations, concrete spread footings, poured in place concrete foundation walls, steel beam erection, dimensional wood floor systems, wood truss floor systems, conventional stud wall framing, conventional roof framing, panelized wall systems, engineered wood trusses, engineered wood beam installation, cantilevered earth retaining walls, sheet pile installation, window and door installation, steel pile driving operation, poured in place concrete parapet walls, concrete superstructures, bridge approaches, deep foundations, earth-moving operations, construction layout, traffic signal equipment, RCP storm sewer and appurtenances, PVC and ductile iron water main and appurtenances, sanitary sewer gravity and force main installation, lift station construction, heavy highway and residential road building, PCC curb and gutter, PCC sidewalk, ADA accessibility, hot mix asphalt operations.

His forensic engineering experience includes inspection and analysis of failures in civil/structural engineering related to commercial, school, and residential properties. Assignments have included construction defects, commercial and residential roofing evaluations, foundation failures and deficiencies, crane accidents, storm damage, deficiencies related to building code compliance, industrial standards, storm pipe failure, water main investigations, vehicle impacts to structures, OSHA regulations, and contract specifications, contract administration, personal injury, and property damage.
