Randy D. Lasure

Background

Mr. Lasure graduated from the University of Florida with B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, and also completed graduate coursework in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration at Florida Atlantic University. His professional background consists of over 35 years of engineering experience in the design, manufacturing, testing and sales of high-speed production machinery, conducting forensic evaluations of vehicle collisions and product and material failures, as well as leadership and management in these organizations.

Mr. Lasure is a certified Vehicle Accident Reconstructionist whose forensic experience encompasses vehicle accident reconstruction, vehicle component failure analysis, and evaluation of motor vehicle security systems and thefts. He also provides services involving workplace equipment failure analysis, industrial accident evaluations, mechanical equipment and machinery analysis, nondestructive evaluation/testing, product design, safety and failure analysis, and assessment of machinery conformance to government, corporate, safety, and international standards. His skillset includes the analysis of hydronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, and fire protection systems involving plumbing fitting and connections, process piping, ducting, valves, fans, pumps, and control systems as well as evaluation of floor tiles damaged as a result of dropped or falling objects. In addition, he holds a U.S. patent for a rotary pad turner-inverter. He also provides legal depositions and court testimony in support of technical findings.

In his executive-level leadership role at Rimkus, he oversees the daily operations of multiple district offices in the eastern region of the United States. This includes organizing office functions to achieve the timely delivery of reports of findings, resolving customer service issues, assisting district and division managers with other operational issues, contributes to the development of marketing plans, and coordinates the recruiting and hiring of employees and support staff.
