BACKGROUND:

Mr. Roberto Rada-Prada holds B.S. degrees in Civil and Construction Engineering and an M.S. degree in Enterprise Resource Management.

He is a registered professional engineer in Virginia, Florida, and Texas with extensive experience in planning and project management control including construction, designing, supplying, and assembling of electromechanical equipment with emphasis on hydropower, telecommunication, water and wastewater, infrastructure, and transportation systems.

In his managerial role at Rimkus, Mr. Rada-Prada oversees the business operations and staff supervision for the Miami district office. He also provides Property and Construction forensic engineering services to a broad customer base including attorneys and insurance professionals. His primary forensic engagements range from property insurance claims to construction delay analysis. Provided testimony in depositions and trials.

His experience and industry knowledge cover over 32 years in areas of project management and design, including construction administration for clients and contractors, preparation of technical and work progress reports, specifications for construction, inspection, and permitting for the construction of public and private projects, and investigation and analysis of residential, commercial, and industrial development project designs to validate purpose and costs. He has handled the preparation and negotiation of public and private bids, as well as budgets, cost control, and change orders.

Mr. Rada-Prada’s areas of expertise include the managing of master schedules for residential, commercial, hydropower, and oil prospection and exploration projects.
