Rimkus Announces Staff Expansion in California
Rimkus Consulting Group, a global leader in forensic consulting, recently announced the expansion of their San Francisco and Los Angeles operations with the addition of several new staff members.
John (Jack) Dolan, P.E., a civil engineer and general contractor, has been named District Manager over both Rimkus California offices. Mr. Dolan brings more than 20 years experience in construction project management, construction job site safety, construction estimating and scheduling, design/build projects and civil/structural engineering.
"With the addition of these qualified experts to our California offices," said Dolan, "we can more efficiently meet the demand for our forensic engineering expertise. No matter the type of forensic investigation involving catastrophic events, property damage, vehicle accidents, fire and explosions, equipment failures, or construction defects, we can provide the qualified consultants to respond."
The San Francisco office additions include Rich Cecchi, a general contractor with more than 30 years experience in a variety of areas of construction, including project management, construction defects, water intrusion, seismic and soil subsidence, construction estimates, and value engineering; Leighton Lee, Registered Architect for 20 years with experience in architectural design, forensic inspections, project management and construction management; and Philip Luke, Professional Engineer/Structural Engineer with nearly 30 years experience in the design and evaluations of structures ranging from single-family homes, mixed-use buildings, and water treatment facilities to oil refining facilities, light-industrial manufacturing plants and sporting facilities. James Mason, who holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, has also joined the San Francisco office and brings with him more than 25 years of experience in materials and mechanical science, with extensive knowledge in fracture analysis, vehicle accident reconstruction and biomechanics.
Other recent additions to Rimkus' Los Angeles office include James Fry, P.E., a civil engineer and general contractor for more than 35 years with extensive experience in design, planning, construction management and project management; and Christopher Hackler, P.E., a mechanical engineer with diversified engineering and project management experience in the construction, refining and power production industries.
The addition of these experienced professionals will enable both offices to provide increased coverage in the region, quicker response time and improved cost efficiency while providing a full complement of forensic engineering and professional consulting services.
