As the former district electrical engineer for the 10th largest school district in the United States, Shams Moghadam knows the unique challenges involved in maintaining and upgrading large electrical systems in this specialized environment. He personally developed the district’s electrical specifications and preventive maintenance program.
With more than 35 years of experience in design, commissioning, inspection, and plan review of electrical power, lighting, fire alarm, and emergency generator systems, Shams is intimately familiar with the regulatory standards, procedures, and codes of the construction industry. Most importantly, he understands the difficulties faced by building owners, managers, and contractors in keeping buildings safe and functional despite their daily wear and environmental onslaught.
