Vehicle Fires

Overview

Faulty equipment or maintenance, electrical shorts or overloads and vehicle accidents are often the cause of vehicle fires. Sometimes the cause is arson.

In vehicle fire investigations, our experts are called upon to determine whether the fire resulted from sources that may include work recently performed by a repair facility, defective equipment recently installed in the vehicle as well as vehicle recalls.  When needed, they will bring in an electrical or mechanical engineer to help determine the exact cause of the fire.
