The Rimkus Consulting Group Inc. and Las Vegas Defense Lawyers June CLE Seminar helped participants understand certain key human factors issues related to different types of accident scenarios such as transportation, construction, product liability, and industrial accidents. The course provided familiarity with human factors issues that can contribute to accidents, such as visibility and conspicuity, line of sight, perception response time, attention and distraction, risk and decision making, warning design and evaluation, which can contribute to accidents. Accident causation factors such as human error, risk perception, and decision making were also discussed. Admission was free to all current LVDL members. Participants were eligible to receive one hour of Nevada CLE credit.
