The presentation focuses on how the lack of condensation control can cause moisture problems in buildings. Methods for controlling and minimizing condensation are also discussed.

Robert J. Lewis, P.E.

Robert Lewis is a Rimkus Consultant and licensed professional engineer in nine states. He has broad expertise in heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems; plumbing systems; heavy industrial equipment; and product failure analysis. His professional background consists of experience in design engineering, project management, construction field assistance, and engineering management for residential, commercial, and industrial construction. Mr. Lewis has investigated mechanical and electrical failures of vehicles and vehicle consumer products including passenger vehicles, commercial trucks, forklifts, boats, boat lifts, vehicle lifts, and floor jacks. These investigations involve damage consistency, theft, brake failures, steering failures, transmission failures, engine failures, and material defects. He is trained and experienced in digital technologies including FARO 3D scanning, AutoCAD, HVAC load analysis software, energy modeling, and Bosch CDR tool. Mr. Lewis holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Mercer University.
