BACKGROUND:

Mr. Steven Schwartz earned his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Florida State University and is working to obtain his Master of Civil Engineering degree with emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering from the same institution. He has passed his Engineer in Training examination in Florida and has over four years of experience working for a large geotechnical consulting firm.

Mr. Schwartz’ expertise in geotechnical engineering includes subsurface investigations of residential and commercial structures, sporting complexes and arenas, municipal buildings, and industrial facilities. He is experienced in foundation analysis for both deep and shallow foundations, ground improvements, earthwork projects, and geotechnical field inspections. He also evaluates stormwater runoff, drainage problems, roof damage, and storm damage. In addition, Mr. Schwartz verifies construction compliance with applicable building codes and contract specifications and construction job site safety issues
