Background

The client retained Rimkus for projects in varying sizes and complexity at a large chemical processing plant, ranging from simple roof maintenance works to more complex works such as thermal oil burner replacement and the removal of a nacelle from a damaged wind turbine.

Services Provided

Rimkus consultants have provided commercial support for multiple and ongoing maintenance contracts at the project site. Our ongoing engagement with the client has resulted in them adopting the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) for future works including a proposed tank farm processing package.

Rimkus also provided quantum and cost advice in relation to the commercial claim for direct loss of the damaged wind turbine.
