Commercial land development project reportedly caused flooding of an adjacent residential neighborhood due to the renovation of a levee and haul road.

Services Provided

Rimkus was retained to evaluate the cause of flooding and provided solutions to mitigate offsite drainage. Rimkus utilized its hydrology and design and construction experience with drainage systems to determine drainage issues and solutions. The scope of work encompassed the following.

• Conducted on-site inspection of the levee, haul road, drainage, and adjacent residential properties.
• Reviewed of site documents of the commercial property.
