BACKGROUND:

Aidan is a Chartered Engineer with over 35 years of experience in the construction industry in project management, commercial, engineering, and planning roles. Aidan has worked for national building and civil engineering contractors for 17 years, as a specialist concrete sub-contractor for 6 years, and in dispute resolution for 14 years.

Aidan is a broadly experienced consultant with a multi-discipline skill set and an ability for diagnosing and resolving issues developed through working in both contracting and consultant environments.

Aidan’s experience encompasses programming, extension of time (EOT) claims, contract, and commercial management; engineering, quantity surveying, estimating, project management and design coordination, and includes the preparation and defence of claims and resolution of disputes through negotiation, adjudication and litigation.

Aidan has knowledge and understanding of all the major forms of contract which include, JCT, NEC, ICE, ICC, and other bespoke forms.

Aidan has provided planning and project management support on several fire-damaged commercial/manufacturing facilities.
