BACKGROUND:

Mr. Benjamin Wisniewski has over a decade of industry experience where he has consulted on existing building conditions, below-grade waterproofing, air/vapor barriers, flashings, windows and doors, storefront, curtainwall, various types of claddings, brick masonry, and various roof assemblies.  Mr. Wisniewski studied Architectural Engineering at the New England Institute of Technology, receiving his B.S. in Architectural Building Engineering Technology in 2015.

Mr. Wisniewski has worked for both an architect and a small building envelope consulting firm, where he was involved in a broad range of building types and project duties, with both existing buildings and new construction.  He possesses a wealth of building envelope experience and knowledge that allows him to quickly facilitate solutions related to water infiltration and problems with the envelope that arise during design and construction.  While working on repair designs for facades and roofing, building enclosure commissioning, leakage investigations, water and air infiltration testing, peer reviews, and construction administration, he has provided his clients with feasible and appropriate solutions to their building envelope needs.  His skillsets in both 2D and 3D modeling alongside his well-rounded knowledge in building envelopes allow him to provide clients with illustrative solutions to envelope detailing and repairs.  He is a certified infrared thermographer, which allows him to perform whole building surveys using infrared cameras to identify and locate moisture and energy loss of the building envelope without deconstructive means.  Mr. Wisniewski is also well versed in WUFI and Therm, which allows him to simulate moisture issues and energy loss of the building envelope during design and investigations.  He is experienced in visually inspecting existing building conditions for both Property Condition Assessments and Capital Planning for commercial, residential, and institutional properties, providing his clients with capital expenditure cost planning for roofs, exterior wall components, and fenestrations.  Having Mr. Wisniewski as a member of your team will ensure the building enclosure is constructed appropriately with the proper materials to provide a water-tight building.
